A word about sitting for a reading.
PUT THE WORD OUT IN THE SPIRIT WORLD
In the days leading up to a reading, spend some time thinking about those loved ones around you that have passed. Ask them that you wish to connect with them. Odds are they are the ones who put the thought into your mind to seek out a medium in the first place.
I WORK FOR SPIRIT
I can't control who will come in to speak. So avoid having a specific person in mind you want to connect with. This isn’t like making a phone call. If the spirit you seek doesn’t come in, there is a reason. You may not be ready to hear from them or they them self may not be ready communicate. Also, pets may come into the reading. If it often the case that the pet may guide a loved one in as they may not have enough experience to come in them self.
I GIVE WHAT I GET
Spirit will show me people, places, objects, movie scenes, etc. I will often hear music. I may even feel an aching in my body. I will often get a name. I will share with you what I experience. These have no meaning for me but they will to you. Spirit is showing them to me so that you may recognize them. The signs I am given may about the spirit but it may also be about another person both living or dead. So keep yourself open to the information given.
TRY TO KEEP YOUR RESPONSES SIMPLE
A yes, no or I don’t know is all your need to respond during the reading. A "holy crap" is fine should the information be super spot on.
TAKE THE INFORMATION WITH YOU
Often is the case some details will come up that you can not validate. Rather than dismiss it, make a mental note as these details may be validated by another person or you simply will remember. “Sitter’s amnesia” is a common occurrence.
YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE AND MAKE YOUR CHOICES
Mediumship is not fortune telling. Spirit comes through to affirm that life continues after crossing over. All they really want to say is "I am still here". They also come through to offer assurances and love to those in the physical world. While spirit can provide insight to the energetic conditions present around you ultimately have free will in your decisions.
